The Frontiers of Thatcherism
Has the radical thrust of Thatcherism lost its cutting edge? Many of the policy changes promised by Mrs Thatcher when she first came to power in 1979 are now firmly established as part of the political landscape. So much so, that some critics are saying that the Government has lots its momentum and lacks any fresh ideas. What new policies are being spawned in the Tory Think Tanks and what do Conservative leaders think of them?
